We will begin the year with summer reading assignments in order to define ideas about who we are and what we are doing here on earth. It is important to realize that as we grow in knowledge, ideas of our purpose here on earth can also change. Being able to acknowledge that history teaches us the values and ethics of the next generation is an important concept which will benefit our class throughout the year.
